Guangzhou Automobile July auto sales up 21.5% on year to 79,145 units

Chinese automaker Guangzhou Automobile Group (GAC Group; 601238.SH; 02238.HK) said Tuesday that its auto sales in July increased 21.5% year on year to stand at 79,145 units.

According to a filing to the stock exchange, its auto sales in the first seven months of the year rose 16.38% year on year to 503,582 units.

The company produced 85,653 motor vehicles in July, up 17.6% from a year earlier and the auto output in the period of January-July amounted to 521,167 units, up 12.51% year on year.
