Tire production kept growth in Q1'-Q3' in Shandong Province

On November 6, Shandong Rubber Industry Association released that tire production and export in Shandong Province kept growing in the past three quarters.

There were 35,545,000 units of tire produced in September in Shandong Province, year-on-year increasing 4.75%, and 30,306,000 units of radial tires, yearly up 6.01%.

In the past nine months, there has been 300,788,000 units of tires produced in Shandong Province, and 252,159,000 units of radial tires, yearly up 3.85%.

According to Qingdao Customs' data, tire export and price both rose in the first three quarters of 2018.

In the first nine months, there has been 180 million units of tires exported from Shandong Province, year-on-year climbing 4% up, and 43.98 billion yuan of export value, yearly lifting 4.8%.

Tire price in Shandong Province continued going up since the third quarter, and reached 257.1 yuan/unit in September, which was the highest export price in recent years.

Shandong Rubber Industry Association said Shandong tire industry accelerated new and old kinetic energy conversion, and strengthened product innovation and efficiency, which helped the whole industry steadily growing.
