Tire exports from Dongyi grow rapidly in H1
Tire exports from Dongying, Shandong province, maintained rapid growth in the first half of this year.
In the first six months, Dongying exported tires valued 8.61 billion yuan, up 17.2% year on year, accounting for 53.6% of the city's total export value.
Shandong Changfeng Tire Co., Ltd., Shandong Xingyuan International Trade Co., Ltd., and Shandong Jinyu Industrial Co., Ltd. ranked the top three in terms of export value.
They exported goods of 1.64 billion yuan, 1.07 billion yuan and 803 million yuan in the first six months, together accounting for 21.8% of Dongying's total export value.
In June, Dongying's tire exports valued 1.66 billion yuan, up 5.4% from May.
In the month, the three exporters mentioned above exported tires of 416 million yuan, 197 million yuan, and 148 million yuan, respectively.
In the first six months, Shandong's tire exports valued 26.35 billion yuan, up 17.7% on a yearly basis.
The province exported tires of 1.73 million tons, up 3.4%.
The figures signify that the unit price has increased considerably from last year.
