The output of rubber tires in Shandong province grew 7.3% in the first five months of this year, and that of aircraft inflated rubber tires surged 42.7%.
At the same time, the province’s outputs of steel climbed 0.8%, while that of hot rolled sheet rose 30.9%; the handset output increased 4.8%, while the smartphone output grew 25.8%; and the auto output was up 16.5%, while the new energy auto output soared 228.6%.
The industrial added value of Shandong province rose 7.6% in Jan.-May, 0.9 percentage points higher than China’s average.
Added value of the machine building sector above designated size rose 11.4% in the first five months, with the growth rate above 10% for four straight months.
Added value of the high-tech sector above designated size increased 10.5%, 2.9 percentage points higher than at of the industry above designated size.
Added values of the communications equipment manufacturing, special electronic equipment manufacturing, and special pharmaceutical materials manufacturing combating environment pollution grew 32.3%, 12.2%, and 31.7%, respectively.
