The Chinese tire market has been following closely the anti-dumping and countervailing investigations by the United States on truck/bus tires imported from China. It is learned that the investigation involves over 100 Chinese exporting companies and huge amounts of export products.

The value of cases involved in the investigation were estimated at around U.S.$ 2.2 billion yuan. In view of the huge interests, the Chinese side has been working actively and in concerted efforts to respond to the cases.

Shen Jinrong, chairman of the Hangzhou Zhongce Rubber Co., Ltd. called on domestic tire manufacturers not to seek short-term benefits and export products in a swarm, in order to avoid any possible adverse impact on the defense against the investigation.
