China Grants Tire Industry Access to 23 Companies
The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) published a list of the first batch of companies that have met the access standards for the tire industry on March 2.
The list is be open for public opinions from March 3-13, 2016.
According to the Access Standards for the Tire Industry and the Interim Measures for theAdministration of the Announcement of Tire Producers, companies are required to apply for the access qualification themselves.
After that, the provincial authority for industry and information technology will rectify the applications and submit them to the MIIT. Then the MIIT will organize experts to re-examine and conduct on-site checking of the companies before finally deciding on the name list.
Tireworld.com.cn learned that a total of 23 companies were covered in the name list, of whom 10 are based in east China’s Shandong Province, accounting for nearly half of the list.
Included are Shandong Linglong Tire Co. Ltd. and Triangle Tire Co. Ltd., among others.
