Changshu, a well-known tire manufacture county in Jiangsu Province, imported 376,400 units of motorcycle tires from Thailand in 2014, which are worth of 2.32 dollars in all, according to statistics from Jiangsu Customs Burea.
Usually, Changshu seldom imported motorcycle tires in recent year. Because local production could satisfy China’s demand, general speaking.
However, due to self schedule, Changshu’s motorcycle manufactures decided to integral move to bigger place. To complete contracts’ requirement, the manufactures decided to import tires from Thailand for their customers, which caused motorcycle tires’ import surge in 2014.
