Tire export in Fujian creates historical high in July
Statistics from Fujian Customs Bureau showed, tire export from Fujian ports surged 42.2% to 3.6 million units in July compared to the same period in 2013, monthly jumping 40.2%, which hit historical record since this year.
At the same time, tire export average price is about 115.7 yuan, month-on-month increased 26.5%, turning the downside since February, 2014.
Anyway, tire export value still yearly down by 17% to 2.14 billion yuan during January to July, but export item slightly up by 3.4%, mainly on declining average price during the period.
Tire manufactures in Fujian province are mainly produce OEM tires, which takes 97.2% of total exports in Fujian province in the past seven months. And most of tires are sold to EU, USA, Japan etc..
