EU anti-dumping probe determines four sampling enterprises
The Ministry of Commerce received on Oct. 19 the result of EU’s truck and bus tire anti-dumping probe, while four Chinese tire producers were determined as the sampling enterprises.
According to the European Commission, they decided to maintain the initial sampling results after reviewing the information submitted by the investigating enterprises and comments submitted by the interested parties.
China National Tire & Rubber Co., Ltd., Giti Tire Group, Hankook Tire Group, and Xingyuan Tire Group are decided to be the sampling enterprises.
EC announced Aug. 11 to launch anti-dumping investigations against tires imported from China.
The products under investigation were “new or retreaded inflatable rubber passenger car tires”.
The investigation was lodged by the “coalition against unfair tires imports” on behalf of producers representing more than 45% of the total EU production of new and retreated tires.
