DOC Extends Preliminary Ruling on Chinese-Made Truck Tires Investigation

United States Department of Commerce has accepted a request from the United Steelworkers to extend the preliminary determination deadline in the countervailing duty investigation against truck and bus tires imported from China.

The original preliminary determination deadline of April 25, 2016, has been moved to June 27, 2016.

According to the Federal Register, the request to extend the preliminary determination deadline was “due to the number and nature of subsidy programs under investigation.”The deadline for the final determinations has also been pushed back due to the extension and must occur 75 days after the date of the preliminary determination, according to the Federal Register.
