China's trade ministry said it has stopped imposing anti-dumping duties on synthetic rubber products imported from South Korea, Japan and Russia starting Monday.
China started levying anti-dumping taxes of as high as 38 percent on imported styrene butadiene rubber, which is mainly used to make car tires, from the three nations in 2009.
China decided to waive the measure because its domestic rubber industry did not ask the Chinese authorities to review the alleged anti-dumping practice after the five-year policy expired on Monday, the Chinese ministry said in a statement posted on its website on Sunday.
