Rank of Chinese Tire Companies by Production in 2017
Recently, a Chinese website released a list of Chinese Tire Companies by production in 2017.
The list ranked 84 companies, including full-steel and half-steel tires' production. Amongst, there were 22 tire companies producing over 10 million units of tires in 2017. According to statistics, Zhongce rubber, Giti Tire, Linglong Tire and Hankook Tire produced over 30 million units.
Statistics showed that there were 613 million units of tires produced by 84 companies in 2018, divided into 131 million units of full-steel tires and 482 million units of half-steel tires.
Divided from production area, there were about 50% of tires produced from Shandong Province. Full-steel tire and half-steel tire respectively took 51% and 48%.
Besides, there were 56 companies producing half-steel tires, taking 66%, higher than past few years.
