MIIT releases tire grading rules

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has officially released the Group Standard Application and Demonstration Programs for 2017, including 106 items.
Tire Grading Rules, which were released by China Rubber Industry Association, are also among them.
The rules mainly include indices such as tire rolling resistance, wet land traction, and coasting noise.
Tire producers should submit application document to CRIA, and they will be able to receive corresponding tire grading labels after verification.
The rules are constituted by CRIA by referring to the conclusion of the Department of Raw Material Industry of MIIT’s assignment, Research on Tire Labeling System.
The grading rules were drafted by 14 entities.
