The International Exhibition on Tire and Aftermarket 2017 Expo (Tire+ Expo) will be held Sept. 20-22 at the Shanghai New International Expo Center.
The event is being organized jointly by the China Rubber Industry Association (CRIA) and China United Rubber Corp. (CURC). It will take place concurrently with the 17th International Exhibition on Rubber Technology (RubberTech China).
The organizers said the Tire+ show builds on the newly strengthened partnership between CURC and the CRIA, providing for a more domestic market presentation.
The show is a new iteration of what previously was known as Reifen China.
Tire+ Expo will showcase several topics, including Chinese tire labeling, China tire safety week, and a future tire display. Panels will discuss the role of tires in the OEM market, distribution channels, replacing aftermarket, consumer buying behaviors and after-sales maintenance, the organizers said.
Exhibitors scheduled to take part include: China National Tire & Rubber Corp; Double Coin Holdings Ltd.; Shandong Yinbao Tyre Group Co. Ltd.; Shandog Linglong Tyre Co. Ltd.; Qingdao Sentury Tire Ltd.; Prinx Chengshan (Shandong) Tire Company Ltd.; Zhongce Rubber Group Co. Ltd.; Sailun Jinyu Group; Triangle Tyre Co. Ltd.; Guizhou Tyre Co. Ltd.; Shandong Wanda Boto Tyre Co. Ltd.; and Shaanxi Yanchang Petroleum Group Rubber Co. Ltd..
"CRIA is appealing to foster a closer relationship between tire and aftermarket industry while connecting and strengthening businesses and recognitions of the Chinese national tire brands," said Xu Wenying, general secretary of the CRIA.
"Excellent national enterprises have social responsibility as well as strengths for the rise and booming of the tire industry and that is why we set up an organizing committee for Tire+ Expo so as to facilitate a healthy ecosystem within the tire industry. "
