14 ministries issue document asking enterprises to realize recycling
The National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and other 12 ministries jointly issued the Action to Lead Recycling Development.
According to the document, enterprises should promote recycling production and consider the impacts on resources and environment in production, sales, recycling and other sectors at the stage of product design and development.
For tire producers, they should consider the issues related to tire recycling during the production.
The document also emphasizes that the remanufacturing industry, represented by large tire renovation, should realize regulated, scaled production.
The Action expects to boost the major waste recycling rate to around 54.6% and the comprehensive utilization of general solid industrial waste to 73% by 2020.
