Zhangjiagang finds import rubber all pass inspections in 2016

Zhangjiagang, a port city in east China’s Jiangsu province, did not find any problem in the inspections of imported compound rubber during 2016.

Zhangjiagang Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau examined 139 batches of imported rubber, with total weight of 9,909 tons worth about 14.74 million U.S. Dollars, from February 1 till the end of 2016.

The local government mainly inspected rubber from Vietnam, Thailand, South Korea and the United Kingdom, of which more than 90 percent came from Vietnam to be used in manufacturing tires and other products.

Zhangjiagang Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau inspects rubber on spot as well as sending samples to laboratories for examination.
