Sales of passenger vehicles in China were 1,565,713 units in July of 2016, with a year-on-year rise of 29.9%, the largest since 17 months ago. Total sales have been 12,180,387 units from January to July, increasing by 13.3% year on year.
Growth rate of Chinese brands was 39.4% in July, which was larger than that of the average growth rate and that of JV brands, which even dropped by 6.9% in February. Performance of Chinese brands has been better than that of JV and the overall market. However, market shares of Chinese brands dropped in July, due to decrease in that of Cars and SUVs.
Sales of Wuling Hongguang have been, 336,491 units, with a slight yearly decrease of 2.5%, ranked No.1, in the first seven months. Then sales of Haval H6 have been 279,332 units, with a considerable yearly rise of 43.2%, ranked the second.
