This September, the new car sales in China has reached 2,024,800 units, which represented a significant 21.60% increase compared with this August and a slightly 2.08% increase compared with last September, and finally put an end to the five consecutive months of decline, according to the statistics from CAAM, the China Association of Automobile Manufactures .
Statistics also shows, the car productions in China has reached 1,894,300 units this September, a significant 20.60% increase compared with this August but a 5.6% decrease compared with last September. For the first 9 months of 2015, the car productions in China totaled 17,091,600 units, a slightly 0.8% decrease compared with last year, and the car sales in China totaled 17,056,500 units, a slightly 0.3% increase compared with last year.
To be more specific, the production of passenger cars has reached 1,620,700 units, 20.75% increase compared with this August but a 6.03% decrease compared with last September. The sales of passenger cars has reached 1,751,200 units, 23.41% increase compared with this August and a 3.26% decrease compared with last September. For the first 9 months of 2015, the productions of passenger cars in China totaled 14,606,300 units, a slightly 1.49% increase compared with last year, and the sales of passenger cars in China totaled 14,547,800 units, a 2.75% increase compared with last year.
The productions of alternative energy cars in China totaled 28,324 units, including 20,365 pure electrical cars and 7,959 plug-in hybrid cars. And the sales of alternative energy cars totaled 28,092 units, including 19,228 pure electrical cars and 8,864 plug-in hybrid cars.
Statistics also shows the share of China’s domestic automobile brands in the Chinese car market has been expanding steadily. In this September, the sales of domestic passenger cars has reached 698,600 units, accounting for 39.89% of all the passenger cars sold in China.
