Export-Import Bank of China issued ¥1.2 billion loans to support car imports in Tianjin Free Trade Zone

In a bid to better support the development of Tianjin Free Trade Zone,the Export-Import Bank of China has issued totally ¥1.2 billion worth of loans this September to companies in the Zone for the importation of vehicles, according to Tianjin Branch of the Export-Import Bank of China.

The bank said Tianjin plays an important role in the market of parallel imported cars in China. Tianjin Port accounts for 70% of all the parallel imported cars in China and the establishment of the Tianjin Free Trade Zone will bring new opportunities in China’s parallel imported car industry.

But China’s imported car market has faced great challenges this year. Under this background, Tianjin Branch of the Export-Import Bank of China, by providing various innovative financial products and services, has strongly supported the economic development of the Zone and made positive contribution to the pilot projects of parallel imports in the Zone.
