China's tire production declines in Q1' 2019 export rising

Recently, China released its tire production and export datas in first quarter of 2019.

The data showed that China's tire production obviously decreased during January to March, but tire export kept increasing at the same time.

Tire production decreased in Q1'

In the first quarter of 2019, China produced 187,004,000 units of tires, yearly decreasing 4.3%.

Amongst, China's tire production increased 4% to 76,393,000 units in March, but production decreased 7.3% to 11,118,000 units during January to February. In that case, tire production in China integrally showed decline in the first quarter of 2019.

Export kept growth 

Datas showed that China exported 115,550,000 units of pneumatic tires in the first quarter, year-on-year increasing 3.1%, and exported 42,370,000 units of tires in March, year-on-year surging 16.1%.

Although China's tire export yearly declined in February due to Chinese Spring Festival, Chinese tire export integrally up in the first quarter of 2019.

Nowadays, China's tire industry is under adjustment. Some of companies was facing capital shortage and bankruptcy.

Some analysts said that tire export decreasing in March showed that Chinese tire is still competitively, facing EU and America levying anti-dumping and anti-subsidy tax on Chinese tires.

However, it is hard to say that Chinese tire export growth would keep on in the future, which is needed more datas.
