Review on Putian Tire Production in 2017

Statistics showed that there were 166,692,100 units of tires produced in Putian in 2017, yearly rising by 2.4% compared to 2016.

In December 2017, there were 1,340,300 units of tires produced in Putian, yearly reducing 22.9%.

Actually, Putian Tire production kept high growth in the first half year of 2017.

In March 2017, there were 1,757,200 units of tire produced in Putian, year-on-year rising by 27.9% compared to the same period of 2016, which is the highest production month in 2017, yearly increasing 27.9%.But highest monthly growth happened in February, reaching 46.8%.  

However, tire production yearly declined since the next half year of 2017, and gradually expanded, which led to limited production growth in 2017.

Leftover of lifting tire price

To be noticeable, Dongying Tire production kept stable in the next half year of 2017.

Due to surging production in the fourth quarter of 2016, production growth in 2017 showed largely decline.

Between the end of 2016 and the beginning of 2017, tire price began a round of surge which pushed domestic tire manufacturers lifted operation ratio to satisfy China tire agencies' storage demand.

In the second half year of 2017, China tire manufacturers also started a new round of price rising, but haven't aroused tire production surging like 2016.

Giti Tire is an important large tire producers in Putian, which is also an important production base of Giti Tire in China.
