Experts discuss energy industry upgrade

The Third Mount Tai Forum jointly organized by China Economic Media Association and China Economic Net (WWW.CE.CN) was held on Dec. 16 in Baoji, Shaanxi province.

The theme of the forum was Green Life, Happy China.

Centering on the topics of New Era – Clean Energy, Cyber Security, National Welfare and the People’s Livelihood, the organizers invited officials from the central and local governments, scholars, and representatives from related enterprises and media to express their opinions.

Over the past few years, some domestic areas suffered severe pollution and environmental-related issues, and the ordinary pattern of coal-fired heating caused worse impact on the environment.

Under such circumstances, Chinese authority issued the 2016-2020 Energy Plan, stipulating thorough reform on energy production and consumption, and construction of clean, low carbon, safe and efficient modern energy system.

Shaanxi is a key province on which China’s clean energy policy focuses and Caijiapo town of Baoji is among the third batch of localities of the nation’s new urbanization pilot program.

Baoji Xinyuan Huacheng Thermal Co., Ltd. realized green heating supply through the coal-for-gas transformation. They exploited mature new energy heating mode and received well social and economic efficiency.

A number of tire producers have also used green energy to provide heating and fuel for production.
