2016 Top 75 Global Tire Companies Released
The 2016 Top 75 Global Tire Companies were released by US-based Tire Business.
The rankings in 2016 were arranged with regard to the companies’ sales revenuesrelated to tire manufacturing in 2015.
The top 21 companies changed little from the last year.
Bridgestone ranked the first for the eight straight year, with Michelin, Goodyear, Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Continental, Hankook Tire, Pirelli, Yokohama, Cheng Shin Rubber, and Zhongce Rubber ranking from the second to the tenth.
Among the top 75 companies, 31 are from the Chinese mainland and 5 are from Taiwan.
There are five new companies in the list, all coming from the Chinese mainland, they are Shandong Yongtai Group, Shandong Huitong Tire, Shandong Yinbao Tyre Group, Shandong Yongsheng Rubber Group, and Shaanxi Yanchang Petroleum Group Rubber Co..
