On November 8th, CPCA released its latest sales volume data that SAIC Volkswagen sells 188,017 units in October, ranking first in domestic passenger vehicle market. It has a total sales volume of 1,615,960 units from January to October, still ranking the first. In the meantime, SAIC Volkswagen sells 182,127 units in terminal retail market in October, ranking double champions in both wholesale and retail sales volumes.
Volkswagen brand sells 1,347,474 units from January to October, ranking first among all brands in terms of sales volume. Its first C-class high-end car Phideon was officially launched on October 21th, marking Volkswagen’s entry in high-end luxury market and attracting great attention from consumers and media. Besides, Volkswagen’s many models also perform well in their sub-markets. Polo family sells 152,507 units from January to October, ranking first among A0-class hatchbacks. New Lavida sells 398,433 units, leading A-class market. Lamando sells 111,578 units, increasing 44% with the same period of last year and showing vibrant vigor in high-end A-class market. Tiguan sells 189,378 units from January to October, ranking first among all joint venture SUVs.
Skoda sells 268,486 units from January to October, increasing 23.8% and keeping a steady growth. Octavia sells 125,747 units from January to October, performing well in high-end A-class market. Rapid sells 56,925 units from January to October, receiving good reputation in young consumers. Superb sells 29,572 units from January to October, increasing 114% and catching eyes in B-class market.
Recently, Volkswagen new large-size SUV releases its official image and will be launched in Guangzhou Auto Show. The SUV will join in SAIC Volkswagen’s high-end products with Phideon. Skoda will also launch new products in Guangzhou Auto Show, in which new SUV Kodiaq will make its debut.
