Automobile dealers in China saw their inventories rise 3.4 percent in March from that at the end of February, according to the latest data released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM).
At the end of March, China's auto inventories were at 861,100 units.
As of the end of March, the passenger vehicle inventory of Chinese automakers stood at 629,100 units, a rise of 6.1 percent from 592,800 units at the beginning of the month, while the inventory of commercial vehicles reached 232,000 units, about 3.5 percent less than the 240,300 units at the beginning of March, according to the CAAM data.
