Triangle Tire appoints Taskmaster Components to be exclusive distributor in North America

Taskmaster Components, a supplier of tire and wheel assemblies for North American original equipment trailer manufacturers, will be the exclusive distributor of Triangle Tire Inc.'s Diamondback specialty trailer tires as part of their assemblies, Triangle said.

"Passing the stringent OEM requirements is certainly validation of Triangle Tire's longtime commitment to developing and manufacturing high-quality specialty trailer tires," Manny Cicero, Triangle Tire USA Inc. CEO, said. "The fact that Triangle Tire is one of the most environmentally conscious tire manufacturers in the world was also a major selling point for Taskmaster Components."

The OEM customers of Taskmaster Components, headquartered in Mount Pleasant, Texas, include manufacturers of utility trailers, recreation vehicles, livestock trailers and over-the-road dry van trailers.

Sid Parr, who heads up the Diamondback brand division for Triangle Tire USA, said the Diamondback STR line-up for Taskmaster Components will feature a total of nine sizes in two tread patterns, including an all-steel ST tire for heavier trailers.

Triangle Tyre Group established its U.S. headquarters in Franklin, located just south of Nashville in Williamson County, in 2016.
