ZC Rubber sets up distribution center in US
ZC Rubber America Inc., the North American subsidiary of China's Zhongce Rubber Group Co. Ltd. (ZC Rubber), has opened a distribution center in Statesville, its first in the U.S.
The 30,000-sq-ft. facility, located near Charlotte, N.C., will be a distribution center for ZC Rubber's Arisun-brand premium commercial tires for the Eastern region. The facility can accommodate as many as 10,000 commercial truck tires, according to ZC Rubber. A third party will operate the leased facility for ZC Rubber.
The location offers "excellent highway access to all transportation modes," the company said."The warehouse facility has a large storage capacity and an ideal location, allowing easy access to major metropolitan centers and ports in the region, which will enable us to better serve our customers and complete orders more efficiently," ZC Rubber America said."It is very important for us to provide better service to our customers. And this new facility will better help us live up to that promise."
ZC Rubber also said it is considering opening other D/Cs in other regions across the U.S.
