CMA adds sizes to Double Coin mixed service portfolio

CMA L.L.C. has added a pair of sizes to its mixed-service Double Coin FT115 trailer and RDS3 drive-axle product lines.

The FT115, part of Double Coin's Opti-Green Series, is available in the 295/75R22.5 size. It has a load index of 144/141 and a 14 PR (load range G).

"With its shallow tread design, the added size in our FT115's daily haul ability will have better wear for a trailer application," Tim Phillips, vice president of marketing and operations, said.The new size expands the FT115's size range to seven SKUs. The RSD3, a premium tire designed for all-season and severe winter conditions, is available in the 225/70R19.5 size. The tire has a load index of 128/126N, 14 PR (load range G) and N speed rating.

Mr. Phillips said the tire is "built to handle all types of road conditions but performs exceptionally during winter conditions. The RSD3's dynamic design delivers optimal traction on harsh road surfaces."

The RSD3 is also available in 11R22.5 and 11R24.5 sizes.

CMA did not provide pricing information for either new product.

Both tires come with Double Coin's 7-year warranty, and their casings are warrantied for 3 retreads.

Mr. Phillips said CMA has plans to offer future options, to meet "the demands of the diverse set of applications for our valued customers."
