Mesnac Says Board Elects He Ning As New Chairman

On June 25, Mesnac Co Ltd. announced that Yuan Zhongxue and Song Bo resigned from the company and voted He Ning as new chairman.

He Ning, former chief Financial officer in the company, was elected to be the company's member of board half year ago.

To be noticed that, He Ning, the new Chairman of Mesnac, has no shares in the company. But Yuan Zhongxue, former chairman has 145 million shares in the company, remaining as its controlling shareholder with a 15.5% stake.

New member of board was politician 

This time, Mesnac appointed three members of board.

He Ning, 60, is a US citizen with three decades of experience in finance and investment. Prior to joining Mesnac in 2017, He has served as chief representative of Merrill Lynch Beijing Representative Office.

Rudolf Albert Scharping,is a German politician (SPD) and sports official. He was from 1991 to 1994 the 6th Minister President of the State of Rhineland-Palatinate and 1998–2002 Federal Minister of Defence. From 1993 to 1995 he was also the national chairman of the SPD. In the Bundestag election in 1994 he was candidate for chancellor. From March 1995 to May 2001 he served as chairman of the Party of European Socialists (PES).

Insiders said that Rudolf Albert Scharping plans to focus on intelligent manufacture, high-end industry technology upgrade, new materials and new energy etc.. Intelligent manufacture is one of important cooperations for two sides.

Yuan Zhonguxe, former chairman of MESNAC, hasn't tell others what's his next plan.
