National gutta-percha program breaks ground in Qingzhou

The ground breaking ceremony of Beilong Gutta-percha Extraction program has been held in Qingzhou, Weifang, Shandong province.
The program is a significant R&D subject of China’s forestry.
Ju Liqiang, mayor of Qingzhou, said the city takes forestry as a fundamental and strategic project to promote scientific development and will make Beilong gutta-percha as a premium brand for the development of Qingzhou’s forestry.
Currently, the Beilong gutta-percha industrial base covers an area of 5,000 mu for gutta-percha plantation, R&D, and production.
The program adopts biotechnological production means to get high purity eucommia active ingredient extract.
