Giti Tire rolls out 4 new passenger tires

Giti Tire Co., Ltd. has rolled out four fresh new passenger tires addressing the demand of China’s passenger market. The models are GAC812 for long distance passenger transport, GDU656 and GAU 867V1 for public transport, and GAR869 for scenic passenger transport.

Tire is no longer low-tech product in the commercial vehicle sector. The four new products are the fruits of Giti by learning the environment of China’s passenger transport market and the focus of the market on transport and driving safety.

GAC812 is an all round tire specially developed by Giti for long distance passenger vehicles and is upgraded on the basis of GAL811.

The model ensures safe control, comfortability and energy-saving, and its wearability, anti-fissure performance and lifecycle have been enhanced.

The two new public transport tires are drive wheel – wide base tire GDU656 and full round tire GAU867V1.

Comparing with ordinary double tire, GDU656 saves 4% fuel and its weight is 26% lighter; and GAU867V1 is upgraded from GT867 to deal with the situation when a bus starts, stops or turns a corner and the tire rubs a curb.

Considering complex operation environment in scenery spots, Giti made field investigations in a number of scenery spots and gathered operation data of shuttle buses and users’ demand.

Based on these information, the producer conducted road tests and indoor experiments, and developed GAR869 tire specially for scenic passenger transport.
