Huifeng Tire Manufacturing fined for unauthorized construction
Shandong Huifeng Tire Manufacturing Co., Ltd. was fined by the Environmental Protection Bureau of Shouguang City, Shandong province, for 41,577 yuan.
The company's engineering tire project with designed capacity of 20,000 tires started construction without authorization of local environmental protection authority.
Registered in 2003, the company was formerly known as Weifeng Fengli Rubber Factory, which ran businesses concerning heavy-duty tire, forklift tire, agricultural machinery tire, engineering machinery tire, and ATV tire.
It has the right to use the trademark "GOORUN" with an annual capacity of over 1 million sets.
Over the past few years, Shandong province enhanced environmental protection regulation on local tire producers. Wanda Boto Tire Co., Ltd. was fined in Apr. 2017 by the Environmental Protection Bureau of Kenli County, Dongying, Shandong province, for relevant issues.
