Sailun Jinyu participates in establishment of innovation center
Qingdao Rubber New Material and Clever Kit High-Tech Innovation Center has been approved to establish.
It is the 7th high-tech innovation center in Qingdao being granted for establishment.
The initiators include Qingdao University of Science and Technology and MESNAC Co., Ltd., and the participants include SinoChem Group and Sailun Jinyu Group Co., Ltd.
The new center is to involve four high-tech innovation platforms, namely rubber new material, intelligent tire manufacturing, green tire lifecycle, and other rubber products.
Key tasks of the new center will be safe, energy-conservative, and environmental friendly rubber material preparation, intelligent tire set and system.
The innovation center is expected to nurture 20 high-tech enterprises and to boost the city’s rubber industry value to exceed 120 billion yuan by 2020.
