Triangle Tyre Selected as China’s Standard Tires for Wet Weather

China has been constituting its own standards for the performance of tires in wet weather, which makes it necessary to produce the country’s own standard tires for wet weather.

Triangle Tyre Co., Ltd. was selected as China’s only passenger car tire producer for the research, development and production of tires for wet weather.

Before that, Michelin was the world’s only producer for standard tires for wet weather.

With rapid development of China’s tire industry and its growing say, Chinese authorities decided to roll out China’s own standard tire for wet weather.

After strict assessment and selection, Triangle Tyre was chose to research and develop the standard tires of China’s passenger car C1 and C2 for wet weather.

The final solutions for wet weather standard tires have been decided and wet weather tires of three specifications have finished testing or are under testing.

An industry insider said driving safety relies heavily on wet traction of tires, therefore, the performance testing on tires in wet weather is crucial.

Triangle Tyre stared researching and developing radial tires for passenger cars since the end of 1980s and it is among China’s first tire producers for passenger car.

The company allocates a large proportion of fund in R&D each year and its emphasis on automation and information ensures the high-tech and quality of its products, which also contributes to its brand reputation as well as sales volume.
