Environmental Authority Reports on Aeolus Tyres

Environmental Protection Commission of Jiaozuo, Henan province, has reported on the progress of its works against environmental pollution in July.

Among the 33 environmental pollutant treatment projects concerning enterprises directly owned by local government, 16 projects were generally completed, accounting for 51.6% of total projects; 11 projects were under construction, accounting for 35.5%; and 4 projects were under design, accounting for 12.9%.

Five environment reform projects assigned by the province progressed slowly, including the three-boiler ultra-low emission reform project of the power supply department of Aeolus Tyres.

As the enforcement of the new Environmental Protection Law, Chinese government’s supervision on environmental protection of the tire industry chain became stricter.

Not long ago, central authorities discovered a number of heavy pollutant cases in Henan, in which many companies in the tire industry had involved.

Aeolus Tyres has been promoting green reform over the past few years.

The company won the 2011-2015 Advanced Environmental Protecting Organization in National Petroleum and Chemical Industry and its general manager Zhang Xiaoxin won the 2011-2015 Outstanding Environmental Protecting Manager (Director) in National Petroleum and Chemical Industry.
