Sentury Tire, Tire Alliance Groupe Sign Supply Agreement

The U.S. branch of Qingdao Sentury Tire and Tire Alliance Groupe signed a supply agreement.

Under the agreement, TAG officially became an exclusive distributor of Sentury Tire's new brand Pantera, which include passenger car tire, crossover tire, SUV tire and light duty truck tire.

Maxell Wee, person in charge of Sentury Tire's sales in America, said the company would roll out more than 50 passenger car tire models in July, with the sizes covering 13-inch, 14-inch, 15-inch and 16-inch.

SUV tire and crossover tire are expected to be put into the market in October and light duty truck tire will be rolled out in the first quarter of 2017.

Sentury Tire said the new distribution channel will provide consumers with tires of better performance and higher price-quality ratio - the prices of those tires will be really competitive.

The product line of Pantera includes a variety of semi-steel radial tires of eight categories.

Headquartered in Qingdao, Shandong province, Sentury Tire officially came on stream in July 2009 and owned two major production bases in Qingdao and Thailand, with combined annual capacity of 27 million semi-steel radial tires.
