Jintai Builds up Base for Scrap Tire Utilization

Ren Shimao, former deputy chair of the Standing Committee of Hubei Provincial People's Congress and former deputy governor of Hubei Province, paid a visit to Hubei Jintai Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd.

Ren told the staff to apply advanced technologies to production and make contribution for achieving green, low-carbon targets.

Hubei Jintai is dedicated to promoting low-carbon development of scrap tires. It is a high-tech company that research, develop, produce and sell scrap tire rubber modified asphalt and complete equipment.

Established in Feb. 2015, the company invested 2.05 billion yuan in the very year to build China (Central) Rubber Resource Cyclic Utilization Industry Park.

Taking an area of 294 mu with its first-phase project, investment of some 390 million yuan has been made. The demonstrative production line for scrap tire grinding equipment and rubber powder modified asphalt equipment are operating.

When the first-phase project meets designed capacity, the industry park is capable of dealing with scrap tire wastes of 400,000 tons; producing rubber powder of 180,000 tons, rubber power modified asphalt of 300,000 tons, environmentally friendly reclaimed rubber of 100,000 tons, 300,000 altered tires, and thermal cracking of 100,000 tons.

Chang Futian, board chairman of the company, said the firm will make efforts to build the park into a most influential base for comprehensive utilization of scrap tire wastes in China.
