Shandong Linglong joins hand with Shanghai Jiao Tong University on scrap tire utilization

Shandong Linglong Tire and Shanghai Jiao Tong University signed a strategic agreement on April 21 in Zhaoyuan, Shandong province, to cooperate in a program for comprehensive utilization of scrap tires.
Statistics show that by 2020, the scrap tires in China will amount to 20 million tonesand dealing with the “black pollution” generated from scrap tires is urgent.
Linglong Tire had engaged in technologies treating scrap tires a decade ago.
The scrap tire utilization program jointly launched by the two sides will generate clean energy from scrap tires through advanced technologies without secondary pollution during the process, turning waste into wealth.
