Linglong Tire to Launch Graphene Tire Research
Shandong Linglong Tire and Beijing University of Chemical Industry (BUCI) held the Signing Ceremony for Industry-University-Institute Cooperation on April 13 in Zhaoyuan, Shandong province.
The two sides will jointly launch 13 technical cooperation subjects includinggraphene tire research and application of nano-clay natural rubber in all-steel tire.
Linglong Tire says the two parties are expected to make new breakthroughs in professionals training and scientific research to promote the BUCI’s academic outcomes and to enhance Linglong Tire’s R&D capacity.
Linglong Tire and BUCI have cooperated for years and jointly undertaken a number of scientific subjects of national significance.
The two sides took the lead in 2015 and established the Technology and Innovation Strategic Alliance of Taraxacum Rubber Industry, initiating the comprehensive R&D of taraxacum rubber in China.
Also in 2015, the “key technology on design and preparation of high-performance rubber nanocomposite for energy-saving tires” jointly developed by the two won the second prize of the State Technological Invention Award.
