Smart Factory of Sentury Opens to Media for First Time

Qingdao Sentury Tire Co., Ltd. opened its smart factory to the media for the first time lately.

Centering on smart manufacturing, Sentury made full efforts in a variety of fields, including product, production, marketing, service and R&D, to realize the transition from "tire producing" to "smart tire producing".

The established of the tire industry 4.0 smart factory is the result of Sentury in fulfilling the strategy of "Made in China 2025".

After the proposal of the "One Belt and One Road" initiative, the internationalization progress of Sentury has accelerated, with two tire bases established in Qingdao city and Thailand, respectily, and the U.S. base is scheduled to start construction next year.

The Delinte Tire of Sentury ranked the 13th in the U.S. UHP tire market with a 2.5% share.

Meanwhile, Landsail Tire and Delinte Tire brands have taken up over 3% in the passenger car replacement market in the Europe.

On the basis of the R&D elites, Sentury cooperated with renowned domestic universities and leading robot producers, converged smart manufacturing with traditional tire industry.

The disruptive innovation of Sentury's tire industry 4.0 smart factory is much anticipated by the industry.
