China’s Rubber Machinery Firms Diversify into New Domains

Tianjin Saixiang Technology Co., Ltd. became the first general contractor of jig and fixture for Airbus in China in 2007.

After years of development and accumulation in the aviation equipment sector, the company established close partnership with Air Bus and other famous aeronautical manufacturing companies in the field of aviation.

On Apr. 5, the company won a contract of transport jigs and fixtures that fix, support and protect the assembly parts during the transport of large parts of Airbus A320 aircraft.

The project will last 10 years, valued 594 million yuan.

Huaao Tire Equipment Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. is to raise fund for the second phase of its curing press project in the Binhai plant, with a current annual production of 4.5 million curing presses.

The second-phase project includes a target output of 2.2 million curing presses (including 20 huge tire curing presses) and facilitating machinery processing programs.

The company also tries to produce some machining parts by its own and explore the upstream of the tire curing press industry chain.

Qingdao Beihai Machinery Equipment Co., Ltd. constructed new plants for rail transport equipment and rubber machinery production to satisfy the demands for subway tunnel excavator backup equipment and conveyor curing production line.

Beijing New Universal Science and Technology Co., Ltd. suspended trading since March 24 to plan for significant asset reshuffle, exploiting new markets to address the risks of being affected by the demand of the tire industry.

To satisfy the demands of the market on tire and wheel testing, Tianjin Jiurong Industry Technology Co., Ltd. invested 120 million yuan in expanding the output capacity of tire testing equipment.
