Youdeng assesses TPU project in China

Youdeng Technology started the final environmental assessment in November for its thermoplastic urethane shoe sole project with 500 tons, or 6 million pairs, per year capacity.
The new plant will be located in the Green Technology Park in Liuyang and span about 49,000 square feet.
About $2.92 million investment is earmarked for the project, according to the assessment report. The project will also have a capacity of 500 tons per year for other products made from TPU pellets including plastic caps, sports goods and health care supplies.
Youdeng Technology was set up in July with about $770,000 in registered capital. The firm’s business scope also covers the production of automotive interiors.
