Fengyuan Tire Sets up R&D Center
The research and development center of Shandong Fengyuan Tire Manufacturing was officially established and put into operation on Sep. 18.
The R&D center constitutes four parts, namely formula materials, fundamental R&D, product development, and technique and technology. Its establishment represents the company has formed a complete R&D system for semi-steel radial tire technology.
So far, the company has developed whitewall tire, puncture-resistant tire, all-around security tire, nanotube green tire, taxi-special tire, and new-energy-vehicle-special tire.
In addition, the company has received 31 national patents in succession, and two of the patents reached the world’s highest level and have won the prize of the Top 10 Innovative Development in 2015.
