Desma opens new factory in China

German rubber machinery producer Desma has inaugurated a new facility in Wuxi, near the Chinese city of Shanghai, the company said in a July 20 release.
In May, Desma Rubber Injection Machinery (Wuxi) Co. Ltd relocated to the new facility, in order to increase research and development investment, expand the domestic market, and provide better service to the domestic customers.
Desma said the new site covers a total area of 113,000 square feet, adding that the output at the new site is 200 percent more than the previous facility.
