Heico opens office in China
The Heico Tire & Rubber Group, an Amercian manufacturer of custom machinery for the tire and rubber industry, has opened an office in Qingdao, the organization said.
Heico consists of three allied machinery manufacturing companies—Bartell Machinery Systems, RMS Equipment and Steelastic Co..
The Qingdao office, with a staff of eight under General Manager Zhaoliang Yin, will offer aftermarket sales and service primarily for the tire and rubber industry, but also for wire, cable, oil and gas companies, according to Heico.
“We are delighted to expand our service capabilities in the Chinese market,” said Patrick Morocco, president of Bartell Machinery Systems, in an April 28 press release.
Heico expects to expand its Chinese staff in 2016 to meet demand, according to the press release. It also soon plans to host an open house in the Qingdao office, it said
