Mesnac buys China SR producer
Chinese rubber machinery supplier Mesnac Co. Ltd. has acquired Fushun Yikesi New Material Co. Ltd., a Fushun City-based producer of synthetic rubber and resin products.
Financial details were not disclosed.
Mesnac said the acquisition marks a significant diversification into the field of high performance rubber and material technology. The firm is one of the world’s largest suppliers of tire manufacturing equipment.
Fushun Yikesi was established in 2009. Its product lines include refined petroleum C5 resin, piperylene, dicyclopentadiene and isoprene derivatives, including synthetic rubber.
“Mesnac’s vision of being able to provide a more comprehensive service to its global customers by offering both equipment and materials support is unique in the tire industry, but for Mesnac it is a natural growth from its science based heritage emanating from the Qingdau University of science and technology,” said Zheng Jiangjia, executive vice president of the Mesnac Group.
