SAIC Motor auto sales up 12% in January-July

China’s largest automaker by sales SAIC Motor said it sold 3.27 million automobiles in the first seven months of 2014, a jump of 11.95 percent year on year.
Auto production of the company totaled 3.29 million units during the period, a rise of 12.61 percent year on year, according to a company filing.
The monthly sales of SAIC Motor in July came to 404,412 units, up 14.73 percent year on year, while the output figure stood at 416,368 units, a year-on-year increase of 10.06 percent from the corresponding period of 2013.
