Linglong Tire shows itself in soccer game

Bundesliga club FSV Mainz 05 has signed a one-year advertising deal with Chinese tyre manufacturer Linglong Tire.
The company, based in China’s Shandong Province, will advertise on LED pitchside boards at the Coface Arena throughout this season.
Linglong Tire advertisements debuted at the stadium during Mainz’s 2-1 win over FC Augsburg last weekend.
“We are pleased that we were able to gain another company from Asia as a partner,” said Dag Heydecker, Mainz’s managing director.
“This shows us that Mainz 05 is growing more attractive over national borders and encourages us in our plans to expand our marketing activities internationally.”
Financial terms of the deal have not been released.
