Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen lifts 2013 auto sales target to 552,000 units

Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen Automobile plans to raise its annual sales target for 2013 to 552,000 units, up from 507,500 units set at the beginning of this year.

The automaker sold 276,896 motor vehicles in the first half of 2013, a surge of 33% from a year ago, which made it continue to outperform the overall Chinese auto industry.

Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen is a joint venture between Chinese automaker Dongfeng Motor and French PSA Peugeot Citroen.
