SAIC Motor Jan. auto sales up 35% on year

SAIC Motor January sales
China’s leading auto manufacturer SAIC Motor (600104.SH) sold 513,361 motor vehicles in January of 2013, a robust surge of 34.99% year on year.
The monthly auto output of the automaker came to 480,652 units in January, up 40.29% from the corresponding period of last year, according to the company’s filing to the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
SAIC Motor is China’s largest automobile group by sales volume.
